These are the chores that are regularly done to keep a house clean:
Vacuum and washing floors, counter tops, outside of appliances, dusting
Toilet, sink, shower and/or bath, mirrors
Dusting furniture, removing animal hair from furniture, vacuuming and washing floors
Why charge more for these?
Cleaners in this context are coming alongside of business owners to help them receive good reviews that will affect their business in the future. Keeping up with reviews is an added stress for our employees; we compensate as so.
These cleanings are tailored to each rental- although what is usually included is everything in regular maintaining as well as laundry, under furniture, and inside of the fridge.
Ensuring toiletries are restocked is another added task.
These are jobs that are done 3-4x per year.
Examples include registers, windows, light fixtures, walls, inside appliances, and anything that requires moving furniture.
Moving into or out of a home is also considered deep cleaning.
Typically, the first cleaning of a home that has not been regularly maintained in at least 6 months is considered deep cleaning.
Deep cleaning is a greater charge because it takes us more cleaning supplies and more physical exertion to complete.
These are much more time extensive, usually require the use of rented equipment (carpet shampooers, dumpsters, etc.) and take more skill and creativity to accomplish. We also have special training that is required for cleaners to be able to handle the dangers encountered during these cleanings (dead or alive and infected animals, fecal matter, etc.). These sites need to be looked at beforehand to assess the time and supplies needed and come up with an appropriate plan to complete.
